Jonathan Pitts
Landscapes enrich our lives; they are places of wonder and places to wander about in. I always find inspiration when painting in my favourite landscapes. I enjoy the changes in the light and the weather, the differing moods of the landscape. Studio based paint-ing allows me to continue that exploration; to reflect and to respond to the intensity of plein air painting. After a degree in Fine arts at Falmouth College I have exhibited widely in galleries and have been awarded the 2nd prize at the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition. Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year 2015 & 2016.
